Unhappy With Your Permanent Makeup? It Doesn't Have to Stay That Way

If your permanent makeup has faded to the wrong colour, healed unevenly, or just doesn’t look the way you were promised, you’re not stuck with it. We offer Botched Ink® saline removal for cosmetic tattoos and AW3® laser removal for body tattoos, both performed right here in our Leytonstone, London studio.

I’m Eva, the PMU artist behind Brow Boutique LDN in Leytonstone, London, and Lasered Ink is our specialist removal division. With over ten years of experience and a focus on honest guidance and client comfort, we’re here to help you move forward, whatever the situation.

You Probably Have a Few Questions...

"What if the removal damages my skin?"

That's a fair concern. Both methods we use are designed to work with your skin, not against it. Botched Ink saline closely matches your skin's natural pH, while our Q-switched laser targets ink particles without harming the surrounding tissue. We assess your skin carefully before recommending either approach.

"How do I know which method is right for me?"

That's exactly what the consultation is for. Laser and saline each have distinct strengths, and the right choice depends on your ink type, skin, and what you're trying to achieve. Some situations call for one method, some call for the other, and some benefit from both. We'll guide you honestly.

"I've heard tattoo removal is really painful."

Pain levels depend on the method and the area being treated. With saline removal, most clients feel only a brief, mild sensation towards the end. With laser, most compare it to being flicked with a rubber band. Either way, we'll prepare you fully so there are no surprises.

Two Proven Methods. One Goal.

There is no single removal method that works best for every type of unwanted ink. That’s why we’re trained and certified in both laser and saline removal, so we can recommend the approach that will actually deliver the best result for your specific situation.

Laser Removal

Best for body tattoos and ink with multiple colours.

How It Works

When a tattoo is applied, ink particles are deposited into the dermis layer of your skin. These particles are too large for your body to absorb naturally, which is why tattoos stay visible for life. Our Q-switched ND:YAG laser delivers precise, high-energy pulses that shatter those particles into smaller fragments. Once broken down, your body’s immune and lymphatic systems gradually flush them away.

Best Suited For

  • Body tattoos (professional and amateur)
  • Tattoos with black, dark, red, orange, yellow, brown, or violet ink
  • Large or deeply saturated tattoos
  • Tattoos that have aged poorly or no longer feel right

Technology

We use an AW3 Flash Ink Q-switched ND:YAG laser system that operates at 532 nm, 1064 nm, and 1320 nm wavelengths, allowing us to treat practically all tattoo colours across all skin types. AW3 has over 25 years of experience, with UK-based manufacturing that meets all UK and EU health and safety standards.

Saline Removal Icon

Saline Removal

Best for permanent makeup, microblading, and cosmetic tattoos

How It Works

Botched Ink® is a professional saline solution that closely matches your skin’s natural pH. The solution is applied to the treated area, where it soaks into the skin and begins drawing pigment to the surface. From there, your skin’s natural healing process lifts the pigment out. The result is gentle, controlled removal with minimal inflammation.

Best Suited For

  • Permanent makeup (brows, lips, eyeliner)
  • Microbladed brows that need correcting, lightening, or full removal
  • Pigment that has changed colour or become oversaturated
  • Cosmetic tattoo work that needs lifting before new work can be applied
  • Eyebrow emergencies where freshly applied PMU has gone wrong

A bonus during healing

As the treated area heals, the dried scab appears in natural shades of brown, which actually blends well with the brow area while you recover.

Tattoo and Skin Assessment

Understanding your ink and your skin before anything begins.

Every removal starts with a careful look at what we're working with. We assess the type of ink, the colours, the age and depth of the tattoo, your skin type, and your overall goals. Whether it's a body tattoo or permanent makeup, this assessment is the foundation for choosing the right method and building a treatment plan that makes sense for you.

Personalised Removal Plan

Matching the right method to your specific situation.

Based on your assessment, we'll recommend whether laser, saline, or a combination of both will give you the best result. We'll be honest about how many sessions you're likely to need, what kind of progress to expect, and what the process will involve. No guesswork, no vague promises, just a clear path forward.

Expert Treatment with Certified Products

Professional-grade removal using technology and products you can trust.

For laser removal, we use an AW3 Flash Ink Q-switched ND:YAG system that meets the highest UK and EU safety standards, capable of treating practically all ink colours across all skin types. For saline removal, we use Botched Ink, a professional-grade solution that closely matches your skin's natural pH for gentle, effective pigment lifting. Both are 100% British products.

Comfort and Safety Throughout

Your well-being is prioritised throughout every session.

With saline, there's no lingering burn or sting, just a brief, mild sensation towards the end that signals the skin has been sufficiently treated. With laser, we'll prepare you for the sensation based on your tattoo's placement so you know exactly what to expect. Comfort is never an afterthought.

Aftercare Kit and Healing Guidance

Everything you need for a smooth, healthy recovery.

After each session, you'll receive clear aftercare instructions tailored to the method used. For laser, this includes keeping the area clean and dry, wearing a clean dressing, and avoiding sun exposure for 30 days. For saline, healing is typically straightforward and low-maintenance with minimal inflammation. Either way, you'll know exactly what to do.

Lifetime Support

You're supported well beyond the treatment room.

I'll check in after each session and provide a clear healing timeline. You're always welcome to message with questions, send progress photos, or ask for guidance between appointments. Your comfort and peace of mind matter just as much as the results.

Our Simple, Thoughtful Process

STEP 1

Book a Consultation

Fill out the simple form below with your name, phone, email, and best time to call. If you can, include a clear photo of the tattoo you’d like removed.

STEP 2

I’ll Personally Reach Out

No automated emails. No sales pitch. Just me, calling you for a real conversation about your situation and what you’re hoping to achieve.

STEP 3

We’ll Discuss Your Goals

We’ll talk through your tattoo or PMU history, what you want to change, and which removal method is best for your skin and your goals, with no pressure.

Extra Reassurance Before You Decide...

If you’re feeling unsure, a consultation is the best place to start. It gives us the chance to look at your tattoo or permanent makeup together, talk through how each removal method works for your specific ink and skin type, and answer every question you have, without any pressure to commit.

You’ll leave the conversation with a clear understanding of how many sessions you’re likely to need, what the process actually involves, and whether laser, saline, or a combination of both is the right fit for your situation. Nothing is rushed, and nothing is decided until you feel clear and comfortable.

For many people, this conversation alone brings clarity. Whether your tattoo has faded unevenly, was done poorly, or simply doesn’t reflect who you are anymore, or whether your permanent makeup has changed colour or needs correcting, understanding your options is the first step. And if removal isn’t the right approach for you, I’ll tell you honestly.

Questions Most Women Ask Before Booking

Investment depends on the size of the area, the method used, and the complexity of the removal. We’ll discuss exact pricing during your consultation once we’ve assessed your ink and understood your goals.

As a general guide, laser is typically best for body tattoos with multiple colours, while saline is ideal for permanent makeup, microblading, and cosmetic pigment. Some situations benefit from a combination of both. During your consultation, we’ll assess your ink and recommend the right approach for your specific case.

Every tattoo responds differently. For saline removal, most clients see real improvement after two to three sessions. For laser, it depends on factors like ink colour, tattoo age, skin type, and depth. We’ll give you an honest, realistic estimate during your consultation so you can plan ahead.

With saline removal, most clients experience only a brief, mild sensation towards the end of the session. With laser, most compare it to being flicked with a rubber band, and sensitivity varies depending on the body area. We’ll walk you through what to expect for your specific situation so you feel fully prepared.

Yes. Saline removal is particularly effective on permanent makeup that has changed colour or become too saturated, and it can lighten pigment to prepare the skin for new work. Laser removal is effective on a wide range of body tattoo colours, including inks that have faded unevenly over time. We’ll assess what’s achievable during your consultation.
